Needle Bearings-Heavy Duty

Needle rollers are bearings with a relatively low sectional height and a solid machined outer ring. The solid outer ring provides high rigidity and allows this bearing to handle larger loads than drawn cup needle bearings.Heavy duty needle roller bearings, which can be equipped with seals and inner rings, have an inner ring which is removable from the outer. In this configuration the rollers can ride directly on the shaft as long as the shaft has the proper Rockwell hardness and tolerance. 

Needle bearing with solid ring is a heavy-duty, low-speed bearing that can withstand large loads, but can only operate at lower speeds. When the needle is subjected to uneven force, it may be tilted, resulting in premature failure of the needle bearing.The heavy duty needle roller bearing designs are easy to install and are especially beneficial in compact designs because of their high load capacity and small sectional height. The caged rollers allow for the  heavy duty needle roller bearings to be used in high speed applications.
